I had a fantastic stay at this backpackers in Geraldine! The value for money was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was great, with beautiful walks nearby and a friendly atmosphere. The staff treated me like family and made me feel right at home.
The breakfast menu could use a little improvement, maybe by adding more variety to the options.

Quiet gem with all the amenities we needed; awesome TV room with a variety of instruments; kitchen fully equipped, all to ourselves; great value for money; loads of parking; Geraldine fish and chips are still the best; hosts couldn't be more friendly and helpful.

Our stay at this incredible backpackers was mind-blowing! The private double room was super cozy and clean, with a jaw-droppingly large king bed. We were spoiled with freshly baked muffins and delicious fresh plums straight from their tree – talk about a treat! The social atmosphere was amazing, as we met some really nice people in the very large lounge room and great dining room. The building had an old school feel, adding a fun element to our stay. The beds and pillows were so comfy, and the linens were soft and clean. The unisex shower facilities with separate areas were a cool and unique touch. And let's not forget the friendly cats that greeted us upon arrival – so cute! The facilities were top-notch, with a warm TV room equipped with everything you could want, including a piano, guitar, boom VIX. The superbly equipped kitchen was all to ourselves, making cooking a breeze. The value for money was exceptional, and there was plenty of parking available. this hidden gem of a hostel exceeded all our expectations and left us wanting to come back for more.

For the price we paid, Rawhiti Backpackers was a steal! Our room had a super comfy double bed with an electric blanket, and the single bed was just as good. The central heating warmed up the whole place, and the well-equipped kitchen was a pleasant surprise. The friendly management made us feel right at home, and the charming town had some great shops and walking trails nearby.
The morning meal could've been better with some hairdryer plugs in the toilets. Also, it would be nice if the WIFI limit was based on internet usage rather than a time limit.

We were pleasantly surprised by our last minute stay at this hostel. The owner was friendly and gave us a tour before retiring for the night. Our room was cozy and had a warming blanket for added comfort. The hostel had a spacious living room with a piano and other entertainment options, which made for a great social atmosphere. The location was convenient with free parking and beautiful views from the big windows. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean with good water temperature, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The hostel also offered free tea, coffee, and chocolate, as well as fresh fruits from the garden. a fantastic experience.
Nothing, all was good.

Stayed at this hostel and enjoyed the free bikes to cycle around, as well as the shared lounge and garden. The Electronic BBH Club Card was a nice addition for budget travelers like me.
Oh well, too bad they don't offer free private parking for my private jet.

Loved the free bikes and parking, perfect for a budget traveler like me. The shared lounge and garden were great for relaxing after a day of cycling. The PDF membership card was a nice touch, now I can feel like an exclusive backpacker!
Oh, and who needs free WiFi anyway? Definitely not me.
